Lono'e

Lono'e (LOH-noh-ay) is the third enemy type the player will encounter.

Appearance

Lono'es are a brown, dinosaur-esque creature. They wear a simple grass skirt, leaving their testicles somewhat exposed (yet not their humanoid cocks unless they're pulled aside).

Locations

Lono'es appear in great numbers inside the Treewish Forest. They also appear in Brask's Jungle as enemies and as background characters in Brask's palace, where they join in during the sex animation with Brask.

They can also be seen during the Treewish Forest Game Over scene and in the Brask's Palace scene that's unlocked after 100% Act 1.

Attacks

Their primary method of attack is a stomp, which can be spotted as it's telegraphed briefly by their attack animation. While they lack the range of previous enemies, they have bigger health pools, can move very quickly on the ground, and perform grapples more often (which are nearly impossible to spot before it's too late).

Their seduction attack involves turning around and shaking their butts towards the player, this raises Joe's lust meter if he's caught within range.

Updates

With version 0.14.500, the Lono'e have a weak lust attack in the form of shaking their asses in front of Joe. Like their other moves, Lono'e will only be able to use it at extremely close range. It comes out very fast, and is generally difficult to avoid, but it can only be fired in one direction.

With version 0.14.600, the Lono'e lust attack has received a slight buff: a slightly longer range and multiple hit boxes that last a little after the actual animation ends, plus a minor lust damage increase. It is still fairly weak though.

Trivia

  • Multiple Lono'e appear in the Game Over screen for Treewish Forest.
  • The Lono'e are inspired after Lono, the Hawaiian god of fertility, agriculture, rainfall, music and peace.
    • Their name is based off of the aforementioned god, with a bit of variation to stand out as a species.
    • Their inspiration used to be a lot more prominent with a more “Tiki dino” design, though it can still be felt in their general design and clothing, earlier drafts of the Lono'e have them donning a colorful tiki mask and grass crowns.
    • Lono'es are also loosely based on Myriad's design, given he existed way before the development of the game, despite this, it's confirmed that Myriad himself is not a Lono'e.
