The music for Oh So Hero! was composed by Cilantro, Tweaker, and Ket Ralus under the development team artist name Full Frontal Frog.

The first official soundtrack is Oh So Hero! Act 1 Original Soundtrack (titled Oh So Hero! Act 1 (Original Game Soundtrack) in some music stores). It was released March 21, 2024, around the time that Version 0.20.300 of the game released, and contains 24 tracks. It's catalog number is FROG-101.

Aside from the bonus tracks, you'll find every track playing as background music somewhere in the game. You'll find the location where the track is played by looking at the table's Where it's used column. The table also contains a YouTube link to quickly preview each song.

• Bustin' On the Beach was also used as the background music in Oh So Hero's First revised trailer.
• Despite being first in the album's set order, Theme of Joe was actually the last track to be finished and incorporated into the game.
  • It was also meant to become the game's Main theme, but the directors decided against this and made the theme about Joe instead.
  • Seed of a Hero was also considered to be used as the Main Theme, but was seen as better suited for a challenge area that's yet to be developed, in the meantime, parts of it were adapted into Theme of Joe itself.
• Both Wishful Woods and Wild Shadows (Forbidden Mix) have references to the Wild Shadows track, while the former's connection is obvious given the inhabitants at both locations, the latter being closer to a remix of this track may imply a deeper connection between Brask's Jungle and the Forbidden Bayou.
• Mall Rat and Gallery of Dreams intentionally share a similar motif that's been more subtly used in other tracks as well.
• Theme of Kaylee was meant to be an introductory track for a conversation with Kaylee, however, since her story was postponed into Act 2, the finished theme was used as the background music for Ali's Surf Shack instead.
• Themes 2 through 7, as well as 10, 11 and 21 in this current album had earlier versions of them in the Pre Edition Soundtrack release. These had very minor changes compared to their released version, but are also available online. See Other Releases for them.
  • Seen through this Pre edition album and developer logs, the creation and development of some of the game's tracks can date back up to 7 years before the 1.0 release.

During the pre-release phase of the game, tracks labelled as “Pre Soundtracks” were released that came with aptly named Pre editions of the game. These were released as MP3 files for Patron members but are also part of the Oh So Hero! Soundtrack YouTube playlist between the entries 25-34 of the playlist.

These tracks were later mastered and included on the Oh So Hero! Act 1 Original Soundtrack, these are now a part of the full release of the game.
