The leather belt is a passive item that the player can pick up to get a buff to two of their stats, they'll get +4 points to their Strength and Stamina stats. Despite the description of this item, Joe doesn't visibly wear the leather belt and his appearance does not change after picking up the item.

The description of the item is a reference to a voice chat exchange by Ventrilo in a World of Warcraft game.

Once picked up, the player will immediately receive 4 points to their Strength and Stamina stats, this means they'll hit enemies harder and be able to sustain more damage from them as well. It's a passive item, so the buffs don't need to be equipped or activated, instead being always active from the moment the player picks up the item.

The leather belt can be found at the bottom left of Brask's Palace, it is found behind a crate and the camera doesn't scroll enough for the player to see it before picking it up. There are platforms leading up to the location of the item that'll hint the player that there's a secret in the corner that the item is hiding in.
