Down or Left/Right + Tactical Stance to Throw - These shorts make you stronger just by wearing them! Enables Throw Moves: Down Throw and Side Throw

The weighted shorts are a pair of shorts that allow the player to perform Throws on enemies and crates. The player has the ability to toggle this option off from the Skills menu in the pause screen as well. Joe's appearance doesn't change after acquiring this item, though, the item may be modeled after the shorts he was already wearing.

With the Weighted shorts in the player's inventory, the player is able to hold a direction and enter Tactical Stance (F on Keyboards or R on Controllers, with default bindings) over a tumbled enemy or crate to throw them in the held direction. This action deals damage to them and any enemy they hit on their flight.

Starting with version 1.10.000, all save files start with this item already in their inventories. The item did not exist prior to this version.

• Throw moves were added one update earlier in version 1.09.002 as a beta option that players had to manually enable in the options menu, this did not grant the item however.
• Despite this item not changing Joe's appearance upon pick up, he was already wearing a pair of shorts that are very similar, if not identical, to this item, making a difference unnecesary.
