Gallery

The Gallery is a scene-viewer mode in Oh So Hero!

Originally added as a Patreon-exclusive feature in version 0.16.000, the Gallery is an interface that now every player can access from the Main Menu of the game. On this screen, the player can navigate a list of all the enemies, NPCs and other miscellaneous sources of sexy scenes, the player can choose and watch any one specific scene that they've naturally seen in the game.

The gallery's knowledge of unlocked scenes is different than the current saves the player has, so the player doesn't need to keep a completed save-file for every animation to be remain unlocked, as the data that tells the Gallery which scenes should be viewable is stored in a separate file.

Controls

  • Up/Down inputs: Navigates between the different animations the selected character has.
  • Hide UI: Hides the controls and scene selectors from view.
  • Play/Pause: Play or pause the animation.
  • Loop: Toggles between three loop modes:
    1. Loop Animation (default): This turns on animation looping. When the animation is finished, it will automatically play again from the beginning.
    2. Loop Sequence: This will loop the current frame sequence, which is a segment of the animation based around a particular action (fuck loop, cum, etc.).
    3. Play Once: This turns off animation looping. When the animation is finished, it will stop. At this point, the Play/Pause button can be used to play again from the beginning.
  • Climax: Only applicable to sex animations. This will automatically jump to the cum sequence (climax) of the animation. This button can be pressed again during the climax to restart it.
    • NOTE: Many NPCs have a two-part animation. In order to jump to the second climax, wait until the first climax has finished before pressing the button a second time.
  • Camera: Enters a second mode that allows the player to Zoom and Pan the camera so they can focus on what's important to them.
    1. Hide UI: Same as before, also present in this submenu.
    2. Zoom In/Out: Moves the camera closer or farther away from the animation.
    3. Pan: Uses all your directional keys to move the camera in any given direction.
  • Next/Prev. Sequence: Jumps between the different sequences in the given animation (for example: foreplay, penetration and climax, navigated between with these controls).
  • Next/Prev. Frame: Only available if the animation is paused, nudges the animation a single frame forward or backward.
  • Play All: Hides the UI and starts playing all the animations sequentially.
  • Filter: Immediately hides the animation.

Prior to version 1.00.000, the gallery used the Patron build's Test controls in the Gallery as well, these are different to the current release version and are as follows:

  • 1 2 3 4 = Camera Preset (Zoom Level)
  • [ ] = Time Scale (Half Speed, Double Speed)
    • press while holding Shift for fine adjustment
  • \ = Time Scale Reset (Normal Speed)
  • T = Trailer Mode (Hide UI Elements)

Abbreviations

After selecting a character, a text will display on the top left of the screen with the format Character/Abbreviation, it may also be followed by a sequence number. The abbreviations are used as animation prefixes and define the following:

  1. MSC: Miscellaneous.
  2. IDL: Idle.
  3. ATK: Attack.
  4. GRB: Grab.
  5. LST: Lust Sexy Taunt.
  6. VYR: Voyeur Fap. An enemy enjoying an unfolding scene without joining it.
  7. SWN: Swooned Fap. Defeating an enemy with Lust attacks.
  8. CSP: Charm Sex, Player-initiated. Swooning an enemy and grabbing them yourself.
  9. CSE: Charm Sex, Enemy-initiated. Having your Lust bar filled and getting grabbed by an enemy.
  10. PSP: Primary Sex, Player-initiated. Defeating an enemy and grabbing them yourself.
  11. PSE: Primary Sex, Enemy-initiated. Getting grabbed by an enemy.
  12. XSP: Extra Sex, Player-initiated.
  13. XSE: Extra Sex, Enemy-initiated.
  14. NSP: Non-competitor (NPC) Sex, Player-initiated
  15. OSP: Object Sex, Player-initiated (e.g., forest switch)
  16. KO: Knocked Out.
  17. MG: Multigrab.
  18. LGC: Legacy/. Old, replaced animations from a previous version.
  19. UNC: Uncategorized.
  20. ERR: Error.

Considerations

Locked animations

In order to view animations, you have to find them in the game first. You do not need to keep a completed save file, as Seen animations are stored in a file independent from save files.

The gallery is ordered into the following categories:

Animations seen in previous builds

If the player watched any animation in a build made before version version 0.16.000, the version that introduced the gallery, they'll need to find the animation naturally in-game again for it to show up in the gallery. This is because the file that stored the watched animations didn't exist in previous versions and thus, weren't being logged to be seen later in the gallery.

Introduced with Oh So Hero! v1.10.000 Throw Moves|version 1.10.000, next to every character, location or otherwise entity name, a star will appear next to them to tell the player how complete their animations are.

  • A solid star (โ˜…) means all animations are unlocked for an entity.
  • A hollow star (โ˜†) means some animations are unlocked for an entity.
  • A question mark (?) means no animations are unlocked for an entity.
  • A lock icon (๐Ÿ”’) means an animation is locked and its requirements haven't been met.

The lock icon is currently only used for the Brask's Palace animation, as it's an animation that's not encountered in game like the others.

Cheat code

The player can choose to temporarily unlock everything in the gallery for quick viewing, this was introduced in version 0.20.400. To input it, the player will need to hold down Cheat control 1 and 2, then press Cheat control 3 three times.

With default bindings, the Cheat controls inputs are as follows:

For mobile devices with touch input or by using the mouse, the cheat code can also be activated by clicking/tapping the white gradient near the bottom center of the screen three times within two seconds.

The player will know the cheat code worked because a sound effect will play, every animation will be unlocked and the game will call out the player above the Gallery completion percentage, which should be 100%. The gallery will have all the animations unlocked until the player backs out to the main menu.

For a permanent solution, you can unlock the gallery by importing a custom Gallery file (GalleryData.es3) that modifies the gallery's saved data.
