Ket

Ket is an interactable NPC in Oh So Hero!

He acts as the basic tutorial guide at the start of the game, granting the player The map item and then later giving him guidance and suggestions on where to go. Appearing a couple times through the early locations of the game to do so.

Ket is a lifeguard at Sheo Islands Beach and is a friend of Joe, he appears disinterested in the Gerrabacco Tournament but also cheers on Joe and tells him to have fun in it, he checks in on him a couple times to see how he's holding up.

With every one of his appearances, Ket reminds the player of his controls, with his first appearance telling you about your movement and attacks, then later on exploring Sexy pose and Sex. He also gives the player suggestions and hints on where they could go next.

Ket is a tortavi, a toony, shell-less turtle. He's got lime green skin and is only ever seen wearing nothing but a pair of dark blue swimming trunks.

Initially, Ket can be found just off-screen after starting a new game in Sheo Islands Beach, at this location, he will give the player The Map and a rundown of his movement controls, wishing him luck on the Gerrabacco Tournament.

Once the player continues down Sheo Islands Beach, Ket will be found again, mentioning that he can get around so quickly because of something he'll keep a secret. He has a couple different conversations with Joe depending on his progress through the story, most importantly, he may mention a couple extra controls related to sex and lust. At this location, the player can unlock a secret sex scene by fulfilling his specific, mysterious request.

Finally, Ket can also be found in Southeast Beach, where he offers some guidance to the player if they had gotten stuck in Treewish Forest. After this conversation, the player is also able to finally engage in sex with him, without any previous requirement.

• Ket is based on the fursona of the game's director, Ket Ralus.
• Ket Ralus has explained that Ket is a Tortavi, a tortoise/avian hybrid (or turtle/avian). The distinguishing characteristics of the Tortavi are their beak like mouths, green scaly skin, and lack of a turtle shell. In an old version of the game, Joe assumes that Ket is a turtle and asks him about his missing shell. Ket responds only with “Less exposition and more exhibition!” (specifically meaning Joe should talk less and show off more). This dialogue has been removed as of Pre Edition II, though it is still visible in the trailer.
• Ket is the only non-hostile NPC to have two neutral sprites, one on the Sheo Beach while he's sitting on his Lifeguard Chair and one for when he is seen again on the other side of the island munching on a popsicle.
• Ket also appears in the game Jolly Ribbon Party Grinch by ArtyTheFrog.
• Ket, alongside Brask and a lot of Lono'es, are the main characters of a non-canonical Oh So Hero mini comic titled Oh So Soaked!.
