We do not provide a version for iOS devices as the restrictions set by Apple forbid the game from being distributed on their platform because of its erotic content.
Because of the restrictions on Adult games and Pornographic content that console storefronts have set in place, it is impossible for us to offer a port to current generation consoles. We do not expect this to change anytime soon, but we’re always on the lookout for opportunities to keep bringing Oh So Hero! to everyone.
Outside of the game itself, the soundtrack is available on most music hosting sites, like Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and many others.

Act 1 currently features 51 interactable characters, split between Enemies and NPCs. Out of all of these, 50 of them are male with only 1 of them being female: Kaylee. Though there are still some female characters in the backgrounds of some locations, the player can’t interact with them.
Like the first act, the majority of characters in Act 2 and Act 3 will be male, but there will be some new female characters and other variety as well.
If you’re having trouble with the game and its mechanics, we have helpful resources for you in the Gameplay and Controls pages that’ll help you get through the game, the obstacles and how you can overcome them.
If you’re instead having issues with your installation of the game, you may visit the Installation and Troubleshooting pages that aim to help you with some errors you may encounter.
If you played a development version of OSH before the Act 1 launch, some dialogue flags were reset because dialogue was changed or expanded upon, and you may need to return to those NPCs to speak to them, even if they are already romanced (swooned).
Before reporting a bug, please visit the troubleshooting page first in case it’s a known error that we can already help you with. If you can’t fix it with the help of that page, you can tell us about the bug through these channels:
1. Report the bug directly on our Oh So Hero! public issue tracker on GitHub.
2. If you're on the Discord server, you may post in the #osh-bugs channel on the Full Frontal Frog Discord server.
3. Send us a message on our social media pages, support platforms like Patreon and SubscribeStar, or send a message to our Community Manager directly.
Whichever option you choose, please provide detailed information about your issue. If you provide an Error log related to your issue, it’ll be easier to help you and get the bug resolved.
Oh So Hero! is developed by Full Frontal Frog 🐸, a tiny game studio based in the United States. The studio has two full-time leaders/creators—Ket Ralus and Red Emption—as well as ten or so part-time staff to create additional art, support operations, and handle QA. In addition, we have about a dozen localizers, and many backers and past contributors who have made this game possible!
Ket Ralus is the game's Executive Director and Programmer. He is in charge of game development and team direction, and is CEO of business affairs. He writes all of the code needed to make the game function. He occasionally contributes to the creative aspects as well.
Red Emption is the game's Creative Director and Chief Animator. He is the original concept creator, and is responsible for gameplay design, character design, character animation, 3D background art, story and dialogue. Just about everything you see in the game is his doing!
That would be Francis the Frog, the dapper gentlefrog, Ribbit~! 🐸
Oh So Hero! does go beyond the game!
We have active social media that can keep you updated on the future of the game, share some unknown trivia and easy-to-miss details, and is a great place to interact with us! Find us on X and Bluesky.
We also have comics you can read that take place in the world of Oh So Hero! You may find information about them on Full Frontal Frog’s Comic webpage.
Finally, for the juiciest details on game updates, and some additional art like wallpapers and even additional sexy animations, you may support us on Patreon and SubscribeStar to get them as well as some additional rewards!
The game is updated on a regular basis. It often includes small quality-of-life fixes but may also include new animations or even brand new mechanics! Stay tuned to our socials on X and Bluesky, or the store page you bought the game from to know when the game is updated, and then check out the changelog page for a rundown on what each new update brings!
The future of the Oh So Hero! world is bright! The direction of all three acts will lead you into new locations with sexy new characters~
Of course, the players' voices are always heard and we keep these opinions in consideration to tune systems or even add new features based on what our community is saying.
While some may be kept a secret to surprise you later, there are some exciting developments out there in the public that you may check out to know what’s coming. For the most detailed information, you may check out the Development Roadmap.
We plan for Oh So Hero! to have a total of three acts. Act 1 is complete, but Act 2 and Act 3 will each take several years of development. Because we are creating new mechanics and features we have not done before, it's not currently possible to determine a more precise estimate. Nevertheless, we will be updating our backers on Patreon and SubscribeStar with each step of our progress!
Time is limited and we need to focus on developing new content for Act 2 as well. If we were to split our attention and revisit old content, it would really slow down the publishing of fresh, new content. We might still revisit some old art and animations to better fit with newer work, like after the completion of an act or another similar milestone, but this will happen at our discretion.
Due to the nature of the hand-drawn in-game sprites and animations, it’s not as easy to add these character and outfit variations as it may seem. Even a small change like a shirt or a hat can prove really time-consuming as it implies the update of every single animation in the game to include the change.
Due to this, we prefer to focus on new animations, interactions with other characters and other mechanics of the game rather than focusing on these variations.
Act 2 will build towards an experience that will satisfy more casual and hardcore players alike. The exact implementations we will use are still to be decided, but we have many ideas in store. Act 1 has also received difficulty adjustments after its launch, and will continue to do so at least through v1.12 (possibly further).
Of course! We love seeing fan works of Oh So Hero! Please share it with us or tag #OhSoHero so we can admire your creations! We may even ask your permission to feature it (with credit, of course~).
First, thank you for wanting to support us! Ribbit~! We appreciate the thought, and the Full Frontal Frog team that brings you Oh So Hero! has both Patreon and SubscribeStar pages that you can pledge at to help fund the development of future updates and acts!
Your support will be rewarded too! Our supporters get sneak peeks at what future updates will bring, the new characters that Joe will meet, and the new locations he’ll traverse. Additional rewards include a brand new comic that takes place between the acts of the game, bonus art featuring characters from new, sexy positions, and you’ll also get access to our community Discord server where you can hang out with other players and even interact with the members of the development team themselves.
After pledging $20 USD in total (meaning you can chip away at this amount across different months), you have the option to be included in the credits of Oh So Hero!
Supporters from Patreon, SubscribeStar, and even Ko-Fi donors will have their lifetime pledge amounts added up (the total amount they’ve supported us with), and those with the higher amounts will appear first in the credits!
This is a lifetime reward, meaning your name will stay in the credits even if you stop pledging.
If you don’t see your name in the credits, you may have submitted your entry too close to a build being finished, or some information could’ve been messed up. In any case, you may contact us so we can get it resolved!
We do have a community server for players of the game! It’s a small hub for players to interact with one another, share experiences and keep up to date with updates straight from the directors of the game themselves.
This server is open to all our supporters from Patreon and SubscribeStar platforms. Supporters from either page can link their Discord accounts to the platform and immediately gain access to the Oh So Hero! Discord server.
Once inside, don’t forget to check the #🌈readme channel for useful links to get your supporter rewards and know your way around the server!
Sorry, but supporters won’t get a game key as part of the rewards with their subscriptions. You will need to buy the game separately from your pledge at either Steam or the itch.io store.
Some long-time supporters were given Act 1 Steam keys for the v1.00 release because we had a limited amount available that we could provide them with. We don't expect we'll have this opportunity for current supporters or with the release of future acts.
We’d love to include everyone, but with the amount of work we have on our backs, it’s impossible for us to do so. In our old roadmap, we wanted to offer NPC guest spots as a reward, but we never had the time to handle this in addition to all of the planned content. So we’ve reserved ourselves to only work on original concepts by Creative Director Red Emption, though we sometimes receive input from Executive Director Ket Ralus and some part-time contributors.
Yes, if you drop your pledge, you’ll lose access to all of the private posts in our Patreon and SubscribeStar pages, which would restrict your access to both current and future updates on the coming acts, development logs and occasional bonus art.
You will keep your lifetime perks that were based on your pledge amount rather than current status like having your name in the credits or being invited into the Discord server, though from the latter, you’ll lose access to some channels.
We always strive to provide new content on a monthly schedule, but we occasionally slip off track for one or more reasons. Rest assured that if we do miss a date, we’ll update you later on why it was and provide the quality content that needed just a bit more time in the oven!
We appreciate your patience and understanding.
We’re sorry to hear you’re having troubles with billing, but don’t worry! We’ll help you! Whether you were billed twice, or there was a misunderstanding, or any other issue, you can visit the Refunds page for instructions. And if you are unable to resolve the issue yourself, you can contact us so we can help you in every way we can.
Supporters that have pledged at least $20 USD in total in any of our Support platforms have the option to submit their information and have their names appear in the credits. You may check for yourself by going selecting Options in the Main Menu, then selecting *View Credits* under the General tab. Beating the current Act will also show the game’s credits. Make sure you are checking the latest build; credits are updated every six months.
As for total contribution, that's something we calculate from your lifetime pledge total in our support sites like Patreon and SubscribeStar. We rank the names in the credits based on that. These are not fixed ranks; they evolve over time based on number of backers and dollar amounts, but they're always in order from highest to lowest. As of v1,12, there are 4 ranks: #1 is $730 or higher, #2 is $300 or higher, #3 is $9.99 or higher, #4 is for unlinked accounts where the current total is unknown. Many of the entries in the lower tiers are grandfathered in.
If you are not currently in the list and have pledged more than $20 USD, see the Credits & Perks form for details.
