The Essence of Vim is a liquid contained in a brightly colored bottled. Obtaining this passive item permanently raises the SP stat of the player, letting them perform more special moves before needing to recover their energy. The word “Vim” itself is latin for Strength or Vigor, sometimes robust energy and enthusiasm as well.

This is a passive item that the player can pick up and immediately get a boost to their SP stat, this is visually seen by the growth of their SP bar, the blue one, on their HUD. This upgrade means they can perform more special attacks before needing to recover their energy.

The Essence of Vim can be found at Brask's Jungle on a stray platform around the halfway point of the location. To get to it, the player will need to ride air the current that takes them backwards towards the Green gem, but must hop off the current before reaching the other side. This can be done with a Butt Stomp when the player is right above the stray platform that has the item hovering over it.
