-Unlike other items, the Gold Coin doesn't float. It instead pops out of a crate and lands on the floor while spinning, making them a little hard to see at times. Worse still, it has it's own physics, so can bounce off of springs or even fly out of the crate, potentially making them unreachable. Coins transfer into Zenni, a currency planned for use towards a shop feature in future editions of "Oh So Hero!".

-  * Despite being body paints, the Sensual Body Paints and other stat boosting items like the Leather Belt never actually appear on Joe. This is simply because doing so would require additional sprites for every scene and even more complex coding.
-  * The Chillpill is based on the saying "Take a chillpill", which means to relax or calm down.
-  * In earlier version of Oh So Hero!, medikits and chillpills could be found on enemies after beating them up. However, this was changed over time due to the abundance of crates in levels and how Joe's grapples increase health. (They have, however, been re-added if the player "swoons" enemies.)
-  * Zenni may be named after the Zeni.  A form of currency in the Dragon Ball Series.
