====== Medkit ======

Medkits are a consumable item that may drop from crates or enemies that restore the player's HP and allow them to stay in physical fights for longer.

===== Function =====

Upon being picked up, they will be automatically consumed by the player and have their HP restored by 30%. The fact that this is a percentage and not a set value means that the player will have more of their HP restored if they have items that upgraded their HP.

Medkits are a random drop from crates all throughout the game. They might drop from them after the player or any other source breaks them.

Enemies also have a small, random chance to drop a medkit when defeated with a fight.

===== Trivia =====

  * {{ :i:medkit_old.png?nolink&75|}}In versions prior to [[changelog_v0.18#Oh So Hero! v0.18.400|version 0.18]], the medkit used a red cross and red accent lines. This was changed to avoid the common issues with using a red cross that many other videogames also face.
