**Goliath** is a large, static enemy in //Oh So Hero!//

===== Appearance =====

Goliaths are gigantic green treefrog creatures that wear a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundoshi|fundoshi]]. They are larger than Joe and do not move from the spot they're encountered in. During their sex scenes with Joe, they reveal their genitalia is just as big as one would expect.

===== Locations =====

They are only seen in [[locations#Treewish Forest]] placed to spawn in specific spots to hinder traversal. They share this location with the [[lonoe|Lono'e]]. A sole Goliath appears in the Game Over screen for this location.

===== Attacks =====

While they lack any real melee attack, they make up for it with a ranged one and a wide grapple (which causes damage if you managed to just get to the edge of its range). They also can't be stun-locked by attacks, making fighting them outside of using seduction incredibly tricky as their health is the largest of the normal enemies by far.

They are, fortunately, very uncommon enemies and are still prone to said seduction, so that or evasion (which can be easily achieved by sliding past them) are the best tactics against them. They also cannot move from their position or turn themselves around unless they attempt to grab you with their tongues.

===== Updates =====

With [[changelog_v0.14#Oh So Hero! v0.14.104|version 0.14.104]], the Goliaths' fireballs now launch higher and can be slid under.

With [[changelog_v0.14#Oh So Hero! v0.14.600|version 0.14.600]], their grapple is a fair bit slower than before, making them easier to handle with the hit-and-run tactic.

  * Goliath is the first enemy to possess a non-humanoid penis, which is also the largest by far in terms of both raw and proportional size (which leans towards the heavier side of "hyper").
  * The [[Puca]] and the Goliath are the only non hazard type enemies that don't have sexy taunts.
  * The Goliath is named after the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goliath_frog|Goliath Frog]], the largest species of frogs in the world.
