Gold Coins are random drops from broken crates. Unlike other items, these are physics objects that fly out and obey gravity, the player simply has to walk over them to pick them up and have them added to their inventories and converted into Zenni, the currency of shops throughout the game.

===== Function =====

Gold Coins, converted into Zenni with a conversion of 1:1, can be spent at select shops through the game. As of Act 1, the only available shop is [[Korko]]'s shop in [[Smol Beach]] where the player can exchange 10 Zenni for [[Spring Water]] or 20 Zenni for a [[Fruit soda]].
