**Dyabal** is an interactable NPC in //Oh So Hero!//

Dyabal claims to be [[Liath]]'s business partner, but also considers him to be a fraud, relying on potions for cheap parlor tricks. He on the other hand is an actual demon with phenomenal cosmic powers beyond [[Joe]]'s comprehension. He offers to demonstrate his powers through sex.

===== Appearance =====

He is an auranura, a species characterized by that of short, chubby, and mischievous anthropomorphic ground frogs with incredibly long rabbit like ears. He is currently residing within his cabin to the right of [[Liath]]'s Hut.

Dyabal has red eyes with black slit like pupils and a body that cycles beau blue, outer space blue, and mustard yellow. Around his neck is a red bead necklace with a skull pendant and around his waist is a brown kilt. He carries around a wooden staff with an idol resembling a voodoo doll. 

===== Locations =====

Dyabal can be found at [[locations#Dyabal's Cabin|his Cabin]] inside of the [[locations#Forbidden Bayou]]. It can found all the way to right of the location, past the entrance to [[locations#Smol Beach]] and right next to [[Liath]]'s hut. It contains several chandeliers, a bookshelf full of spell books, runic carvings with inscriptions on the walls, and a throne-like chair with skulls.

  * Dyabal is based directly on the Fursona of [[https://itaku.ee/profile/ArtyTheFrog|ArtyTheFrog]].
    * The word Auranura is based on the word [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frog|Anura]], which is the taxonomic order encompassing all modern frogs.
    * According to the lore of the character, [[https://itaku.ee/images/721132|Dyabal is actually a Haitian Demon possessing Arty the Auranura]]. Apparently, their personalities are radically different and [[https://itaku.ee/images/538682|Arty actively dislikes Dyabal]].
    * Dyabal's true form is that of the demon that is summoned towards the end of Dyabal's sex scene.
  * Auranuras are apparently heavily based on [[https://lastremnant.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Qsiti|Qsiti]] from the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Remnant|Last Remnant]] series in terms of design and behavior.
  * Auranuras also apparently have [[https://itaku.ee/images/726336|a history of mutualistic coevolution alongside Tortavi]] like Ket.
  * Dyabal's speech bubbles have the letters be animated and spaced out. This is unlike any other character currently in the game.
  * Dyabal is the 4th spectator to have an animated neutral sprite after [[Ket]], [[Cas]], and [[Ajax]].
